The Use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model on the Ability to Write Procedure Texts by Class XII Students of SMK Negeri 2 Balige for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Sisingamangaraja XII University, Silangit. FKIP. 2023.This research aims to determine the influence of the Tiktok Life Hack contextual teaching and learning model by class class XI APHP totaling 61 people.The results of data analysis show that the ability of students in the control group is low. This is proven by obtaining an average score of 64.51 with a standard deviation of 6.26. The largest distribution of student scores is 9 students or around 29.03%. Meanwhile, in the experimental group, students' abilities increased. The average score increased to 77.03, standard deviation 8.4, the largest distribution of student scores was 75 with 4 students or around 22.58%. Based on the normality test, the control group and experimental group were declared to have a normal distribution. . Then, based on the homonegetic test, the sample came from a homogeneous population. After the normality test of 6.47 normality and homogeneity was carried out, it was found that t0 was 6.47, then t0 was consulted with the t table at a significant rate of 5% with df=n1+n2-2= 32-1=31 is obtained with a significance level of 5% 1.46. Based on the calculations that have been carried out, it can be seen that to > t table, namely 6.47 > 1.46. Thus H0 (null hypothesis) is rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted
The conclusion of this research is that the contextual teaching and learning model has a significant effect in improving the ability to write procedural texts by Class XI students at SMK Negeri 2 Balige for the 2022/2023 academic year.
