PENGARUH STRATEGI 3M (MENIRU-MENGOLAH MENGEMBANGKAN) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS DRAMA OLEH SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 4 LINTONGNIHUTA TAHUN PEMBELAJARAN 2021/2022

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the 3M Strategy (Imitating-Processing-Developing) on ​​the Ability to Write Dramatic Texts by Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 4 LintongnihutaT.A 2021/2022. The population in this study was 199 students. The sample in this study amounted to 36 students who were taken by random technique. . The instrument used to collect data is a test essay. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a One-group Pre-test and Post-Test Design.  From data processing, it was obtained that the average pretest value = 64.8, standard deviation = 7.9 was classified in the good, sufficient and poor categories namely 26.67%, from the good category, 63.33% from the sufficient category, and 8, 33% of the less category. Posttest average value = 76.9 standard deviation = 8.18 and categorized in very good category = 27.78% and good category = 44.44% and 22.22% sufficient. Based on the normality test, the results of the pretest and posttest were declared to be normally distributed. Then, based on the homogeneity test it was stated that the sample came from a homogeneous population. After the normality test and homogeneity test were carried out, it was known that t0 was 6.3. Then the t0 is consulted with the t table at a significance level of 5% with df = N – 1 = 36 – 1 = 35. From df 35, a significance level of 5% = 2.03 is obtained. Thus tcount> ttable, namely 6.3> 2.03, thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the 3M strategy (imitating-processing-developing) on ​​the ability to write drama texts by class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 LintongnihutaT.A 2021/2022.
