PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS PROSEDUR SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 2 DOLOKSANGGUL TAHUN PEMBELAJARAN 2021/2022”

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by media images on the ability to write procedural texts by class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Doloksanggu in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The population in this study were all class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Doloksanggul for the 2021/2022 Academic Year, a total of 299 people. The sample in this study was 36 students who were taken by simple random sampling technique. The instrument used to collect data is assignment. The method used in this study is an experimental method, with a One-group Pre-test and Post-Test Design.
Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. From data processing, it was obtained that the pre-test average value = 58.8, the standard deviation = 7.76 was classified in the very poor category at 36.11%, the less category was 44.44%, and the sufficient category was 19.44%. The post-test average value = 78.11, standard deviation = 6.57 and categorized as 25% in the sufficient category, 58.33 in the good category, and 16.67% in the very good category. Based on the normality test, the results of the pre-test and post-test were declared to be normally distributed. Then, based on the homogeneity test it was stated that the sample came from a homogeneous population. After the normality test and homogeneity test were carried out, it was found that the tcount was 1.71. Then the tcount is consulted with the student's t distribution table. So the price is ttable with an error rate a = 0.05; db = n-2 = 36-2=34 is 1.69. It turns out that count> ttable, namely 1.71> 1.69 so that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Finally, it can be concluded that the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by image media has an effect on the ability to write procedural texts by class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Doloksanggul in the 2021/2022 Academic Year.
