PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENCARI IDE POKOK PARAGRAF MELALUI PENDEKATAN KONTRUKSIVISTIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS V SD NEGERI 173219 BATUMAMAK TAHUN AJARAN 2020/2021

This study aims to improve the ability to find the main idea of a paragraph in fifth grade students of SD N. 173219 Batumamak through a constructivist approach”. The subjects of this CAR research are fifth grade students of SD Negeri 173219 Batumamak. The fifth grade students consisted of 25 students, namely 15 female students and 10 male students. Research data collected in the form of information obtained from qualitative data. Data information is obtained from various sources. The data sources that will be used in this study are, 1) Information from interviews with resource persons consisting of fifth grade students and fifth grade teachers at SD 173219 Batumamak; 2) The results of the observation of the implementation of learning by applying the constructivistic learning model for class V SD Negeri 173219 Batumamak. The achievement of this classroom action research performance indicator when the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 173219 Batumamak can meet the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) of 65 poetry writing skills for 80% of students. In the initial test results, students obtained an average score of 46.4 with details of students who scored 60 as many as 5 people (20%), students who scored 55 as many as 5 people (20%), students who scored 50 as many as 1 person ( 4%), students who scored 45 as many as 5 people (20%), students who scored 40 as many as 4 people (16%), students who scored 30 as many as 5 people (20%). In the second cycle students got an average score of 65.8 with details of students who scored 75 as many as 2 people (8%), students who got a score of 70 as many as 9 people (36%), students who got a score of 65 as many as 5 people (20 %), 9 students (36%). In cycle II, students got an average score of 80.00 with details of students who scored 90 as many as 5 people (20%), students who scored 80 as many as 12 people (48%), students who scored 75 as many as 6 people (24 %) and 2 students (8%). The increase in students' scores in finding the main idea of a paragraph from the initial test, cycle I to cycle II shows that the constructivism approach can be applied in the learning process and is proven to be effective in increasing students' ability to find the main idea of a paragraph.
